We're a little bit behind with work, but we've got a reasonable excuse.... we'd like to introduce a new member of our family born 6th June - Demelza Cora Constance Shaw. Her name Demelza comes from one of Helen's favourite books - Poldark! Whilst Constance was Nick's nans' name. We're absolutely over the moon and the girls are besotted with her, I'm pretty sure due to having horrendous Hyperemisis during my pregnancy this is our third and final little one.

Finally we had the pleasure of photographing Rachel & Jamie's Wedding, after having to postpone it twice they finally got to walk down the isle! However, the added bonus of the postponement was the beautifully refurbished Manor House Alsager! This stunning venue has had some fantastic work done to it and the ceremony room looks spectacular, just take a look at the photographs. The weather was gorgeous as well, which set off a fantastic week of warm sunshine.

2020, you've been a rollercoaster! Over the past month, I've felt like we've started to get back to some normality, however, by the sounds of the announcements yesterday, we're far from going back to normal. We had a massive low last month when Nick got made redundant, however, on the flipside, he's now set up a business working with his former Creative Director Chris, teaming together to develop RealmVR! There are many strings to their business so make sure you take a look,
It's the unsung hero of marketing - Corporate photography. Authentic images build trust and interest prospective clients far more than blatant stock photos ever will. Be proud of who you are and the people who make your business! From the photographer’s perspective, behind the lens, we are challenged to capture a business’s identity, culture and passion through their team, professional activity and company assets. Corporate photography is an essential ingredient of the brand
Here's a little shout out to Little Bugs Co - 2 weeks ago we had a great chance of purchasing something for our 2 girls to keep them entertained in the garden, a Mud Kitchen! It was hand made and really well put together. It's got 2 sinks in it so it's fewer arguments for us to deal with too :) I've also been trying to keep myself busy with photographing for a local company that is developing some beautiful furniture - The Offbeat Furniture Co. If you have some creative ideas
Morning all, I've been thinking about putting a blog together these past few days and I felt like it was definitely time to have a clear up and catch up with work. The past few weeks have been very unusual and I certainly have the feeling that it will be a few more weeks before this calms down. We've written a list of jobs that we need to complete around the house, our garden is a neverending obstacle that needs constant attention, however, we do love looking after it when we
So today we're actually photographing our last wedding of the year with the awesome Claire & Adam over at Spode! A totally unique venue which we're looking forward to exploring. It’s the end of another year, which on a personal note has been one of the most difficult years of our lives but we'd love to thank our clients for the continued support and understanding. We can't quite believe the variety of work we've had on this year, each wedding, portrait shoot, corporate event,
Well someone was definitely shinning down on this lovely couple, the day started with wind & rain but from the moment of stepping outside the beautiful Church at Astbury the sun was shinning and the rain had stopped.
Lydia & Oliver are a lovely couple & were relaxed throughout the day which describes the day perfectly, everything went smoothly and all the details that they had organised had come together perfectly on the day.
The ceremony took place at St Mary's Church in As
Right, where to start... After capturing Kate & Dan's engagement photos earlier this year we expected relaxed laid back humour, just as a celebration should be. Everything about the day was fun, full of laughter and love, surrounded by family and friends who made everything so perfectly personalised and beautiful. What an occasion! Kate & Dan - congratulations! So much to mention... The Farm - a hidden gem we didn't know about in Astbury - and Maypole Tipi, created a magical
Well I'm trying my best to catch up with editing which is a pretty manic process at the moment as we've been insanely busy. It's been great and i'm not going to lie a good distraction, it's not been the easiest of years this year! So I thought i should share with you all what we've been up to in the photographic world, obviously we don't just do weddings - as you may have already guessed. So I took part in photographing a wonderful event that was put together by Andrew & Char
On Saturday 13th July we had a great time photographing Elizabeth & Craig's wedding in Brereton. They have to be the most relaxed bride & groom we've had the pleasure of meeting, which showed throughout their big day. Their loving family & friends had a fantastic time celebrating their wedding on the family farm in Sandbach, their was lots of dancing and laughter! The ceremony was held at the beautiful St Oswald's Church, Brereton on a lovely sunny day. They departed on a gor
What a gorgeous wedding for such a lovely couple. Everything about Jade & Sam's wedding was so carefully thought through, the lovely details and delicate hand made decorations and bouquets that Jade's mum had made were beautiful. When we first met Jade and Sam they were so easy to chat to and were so excited to be planning their big day at Keele Hall, we met them at the Keele Hall Wedding Open Day nearly 2 years ago so we couldn't believe the big day had finally arrived and t
A few weeks ago, on a beautiful (but rather chilly) day, we had a lovely walk along the other side of the lake, near Tatton Park, with Kate & Dan, whose wedding we have the pleasure of photographing in August. When we initially proposed an engagement photoshoot they didn't seem too enthusiastic... So we suggested a walk with Beatrice (their adorable dog), and some photographs along the way! That's exactly what we did, and look how wonderful they turned out!! :-) We meet lots
Little late but Happy New Year everyone :) Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year with Family & Friends. Ours was wonderfully hectic and watching our little girls enjoy opening presents and eating far too much chocolate.
We ended last year with lots of award ceremony evenings for corporate events, Christmas Photoshoots and a beautiful christening and we've already started this year with lots of wedding enquiries. So we are taking bookings for 2019/2020. We have
