24th May | St. Peter’s Church Elworth & The Farm, Congleton
Some wedding days just wrap themselves around you with warmth and emotion—and Sarah & Dek’s big day on Saturday 24th May was exactly that.
The Morning Moments
Helen joined Sarah and her lovely bridal party at the Wheatsheaf in Sandbach, where calmness and emotion quietly weaved through the morning. Between spritzes of Tiffany perfume, pearl jewellery passed down with meaning, and the gentle buzz of excitement, it was a beautiful start to a very special day.
Meanwhile, Nick caught up with Dek—just in time for his epic arrival in a truck! It set the tone perfectly: fun, laid-back, and undeniably Dek.
The Ceremony
At St. Peter’s Church in Elworth, the ceremony was intimate and filled with feeling. Amongst the smiles and happy tears, there were touching nods to loved ones who couldn’t be there but were undoubtedly present in spirit. A truly beautiful moment of reflection woven into a day full of joy.
A Farm Reception Full of Charm
After the ceremony, we made our way to one of our favourite rustic spots—The Farm in Congleton. We always love photographing here, and luckily we managed to squeeze in all the group photos and those magical couple portraits just before the rain set in!
The speeches were packed with heart and humour. Dek and Dan took us on a nostalgic journey through childhood adventures and Dek’s legendary "quick getaways" whenever mischief was afoot. A surprise highlight came from Paul and Jo, Sarah’s childhood neighbours, who gave a sweet and spontaneous speech that celebrated the Sarah they’d watched grow up—still full of personality and spark today.
Bouncing Into Married Life (Literally!)
With games galore for the kids and one very enthusiastic bride on the bouncy castle (yes, Sarah we saw you!), the afternoon was a joy to capture.
As the evening rolled in, Sarah & Dek took to the dance floor, kicking off the party in true style with smiles, swirls, and a full room of cheering friends and family.
