Thomas & Rose’s Heaton House Farm Wedding

There are some weddings that stay with you for all sorts of reasons, and Thomas & Rose’s intimate wedding at Heaton House Farm was certainly one of them.

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful wedding day, surrounded by their closest loved ones. It was a small and intimate celebration, but filled with so much love and emotion.

A day filled with meaning

Thomas and Rose wanted their wedding to be about the people they love and the memories they were creating together.

Their ceremony was beautifully emotional, with their family and friends there to share the moment with them. The ceremony was conducted by the lovely team at Staffordshire Civil Ceremonies, who helped make the ceremony feel incredibly personal and special.

There were plenty of emotional moments throughout the day — the sort of moments that don't need directing or posing. Just people who care deeply about each other, together in one place.

One of the most touching parts of the day was the way Thomas and Rose made sure their much-loved dog, Levi, was still part of their wedding.

It was a beautiful reminder that weddings aren't just about the people who are physically there on the day. They can also be about remembering those who have been part of your journey and who mean so much to you.

A little bit of weather!

The weather gave us a bit of everything!

We had a proper downpour and some strong winds, but thankfully it didn't last forever. Before long, the sun was back out and we were able to make the most of the beautiful surroundings at Heaton House Farm.

I always think there's something quite special about wedding photographs when you have a little bit of weather thrown into the mix. It becomes part of the story of the day.

And ultimately, you don't need perfect sunshine for beautiful photographs — you just need a little patience and the right moment.

An intimate Heaton House Farm wedding

Thomas and Rose's wedding was a lovely example of how special a smaller wedding can be.

With their closest loved ones around them, the day felt incredibly personal and relaxed. There was time to enjoy each other's company, share the important moments and simply be together.

For me, these are the weddings I love photographing — the real moments, the emotion, the laughter and the little details that make your day completely unique to you.

Thomas & Rose, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your wedding day. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph it for you, and I hope these photographs bring back all those wonderful memories for years to come.

See you soon, Helen x
