Levi & Lucy’s Beautifully Relaxed Spring Wedding – May 3rd

Sometimes, the most memorable weddings are the ones that come together a little unexpectedly—and that was exactly the case with Levi & Lucy’s day.

Just over a week ago, I received a call from a lovely couple in need of a wedding photographer at short notice. Their original photographer had sadly fallen ill, and they were hoping someone could step in to capture their 4pm ceremony. Thankfully, I had studio shoots in the morning, and I was more than happy to be there to help.

Their wedding day on Saturday, May 3rd, turned out to be full of joy, sunshine, and so much love. I even managed to dodge a few cars to gather everyone for relaxed group photos—because when in doubt, a photographer will find the light (and the space!). The ceremony was conducted at Crewe Registry Office by the lovely Cheshire East team at Your Ceremony.

Before heading to their reception at Nantwich Cricket Club, which had been lovingly decorated by family, we snuck away for some quiet time at a nearby woodland spot. This gave Levi & Lucy a chance to breathe, soak up the moment , and of course, grab some beautiful golden-hour portraits. One of the highlights? Their adorable puppy Obi, who naturally stole the show!

It was such a pleasure meeting Levi & Lucy. Their wedding may have had a change of plans, but it unfolded with all the warmth, joy, and little surprises that make for an unforgettable day.
