Dan & Anna’s Beautiful Spring Wedding at The Manor House Hotel, Alsager

On the 5th of April, under a bright blue sky, and with beaming smiles from beginning to end, Dan & Anna tied the knot at the stunning Manor House Hotel and Spa in Alsager. Spring had well and truly sprung, and the weather could not have been more perfect to celebrate a love story as joyful and genuine as theirs.

From the moment we arrived, there was laughter in the air—and a whole lot of love. Dan and Anna are the kind of couple that make you feel like you’ve known them for years, and it was such a privilege to capture every moment of their incredible day.

The Morning Prep

Anna looked absolutely radiant in her dress from The Bridal Lounge, surrounded by her bridesmaids in beautiful gowns by Aisle of Brides. With glam by the super-talented Maddie Wilshaw (@bridalbymaddison) and Emily Skerratt (@_beautybyemilys), the bridal prep room was filled with calm vibes, emotional moments, and lots of happy chatter.

Meanwhile, Dan and the groomsmen looked incredibly sharp in suits from Marc Darcy—though special mention has to go to Dan’s shoes, which, as he proudly told us, made the long journey all the way from Carlisle! (it made us laugh!)

Ceremony Highlights

The ceremony was heartfelt and beautifully personal. One of the loveliest touches? A pre-recorded flute piece by Anna, playing as she and her dad made their way down the aisle. Such a touching and elegant moment that set the tone for the whole day. The ceremony was conducted by the wonderful team from Your Ceremony - Cheshire East Registrars - always lovely to see you all!

We’ll also never forget being called a “wedding heckler” yes me - Helen - during mid-photos. which, honestly, might be our new favourite job title! (Thanks for the promotion, Anna! haha)

Celebrations in Full Swing

The Manor House team, led by the wonderful Michelle, had the day running like clockwork, with every detail perfectly in place. Guests enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor spaces while we snuck off for some golden hour portraits with Dan & Anna—who smiled and laughed their way through every moment.

Class in Cakes by Nichola provided the most delicious and beautifully crafted cake, and Helen’s Flower House created floral designs that were a dream to photograph—elegant, romantic, and bursting with soft spring colours. We can't forget to mention Vicky Thornton who wowed guests with her vocals throughout the day and during the meal.

As the evening drew in, Dan - yes the groom - had a little surprise for everyone. Dan Brunskill DJ Sax (@danbrunskilldjsax) brought the party vibes with his unbeatable energy. Later in the night, Ryan from Maximum Music took over and kept the dance floor full until the very last song.

Final Thoughts

Dan & Anna’s day was full of love, laughter, and sunshine—three of our favourite things. From the smallest detail to the biggest moments, they planned a day that was completely them, and it was a true honour to capture it all.
