Laura & Matt's Wedding Day

What a wedding! Pretty sure we were still dancing to the music 2 weeks after this wedding!

Laura & Matt are two of the most chilled out people we’ve come across and it was an absolute delight to capture their big day. Nick met them at a wedding open day nearly 2 years ago now, so we’ve been involved from the beginning of their plans for the big day! We met a few times before the wedding day so managed to discuss all their plans and get to know them both and hear how their story began and where they were now even working together as firefighters. Helen had a great time chatting to them on their engagement photoshoot at the Edge in Knutsford where Matt proposed to Laura.

The morning celebrations started for the girls at Laura’s parents house where there was plenty of bubbles and laughter flowing and maybe a glass broken ;-) A very relaxed Laura was blissfully chilling and enjoying having her hair and make-up done.

Nick met with Matt and the boys at The Plough Inn at Eaton for a quick pint and pictures outside!

The weather shone beautifully for the arrival of Laura at the church The ceremony took place at St Michael’s Church in Congleton which was the same church Laura’s parents got married at, in fact there are a lot of family members that got married there but non rocked up in a vintage fire engine!! Which, by the way we were on standby for if it did happen to break down…

The ceremony was beautiful and included a very touching moment of remembering Laura’s brother Ollie, who was well remembered in all their hearts throughout the day.

We had the pleasure of working alongside Sam from NLV Films throughout the day and evening who I’m sure captured some absolutely hilarious moments which could of possibly included Helen…

We captured some stunning photographs of Laura and Matt around the grounds of the church and nearby park estate. We included some wonderful reconstructed poses from Laura’s parents wedding day, which I feel we captured perfectly!

Heading to the venue, Cotton’s Hotel in Knutsford, it began with some hilarious games and cracking speeches. Flowing into the evening party, which I don’t think we’ve seen a dance floor so full from 7pm and I’m pretty sure it probably never got emptied till the music stopped that night.

A wedding that partied till the early hours….just our kind of party!

Thanks for having us guys and finally enjoy your wedding preview pics. To see the rest of the gallery head over to the preview page here.
