Emma & Stuart’s Wedding at The Cheshire Venue | Cheshire Wedding Photographer

Some wedding days just have that lovely feeling about them — relaxed, full of laughter, surrounded by people who genuinely care about each other, and with lots of little surprises along the way.

Emma and Stuart’s wedding at The Cheshire Venue was exactly that.

It was an absolute pleasure for Nick and me to spend the day with them, photographing all the moments they had carefully planned, along with plenty of unexpected ones that made their wedding completely their own.

A beautiful Cheshire wedding venue

If you're looking for a wedding venue in Cheshire, The Cheshire Venue really is somewhere you need to see.

The location is stunning, but what really makes it special is the feeling you get when you're there.

Judy and the team do such a wonderful job of looking after everyone, and the grounds have that lovely feeling of being somewhere you can relax and feel completely at home.

And then there's the house itself.

Every room is beautifully decorated and styled, with so much attention to detail. Wherever you turn, there is another beautiful space, another little detail or another opportunity for photographs.

As photographers, we love venues that give us lots of different places to work, and The Cheshire Venue certainly doesn't disappoint.

A relaxed and completely personal wedding

Emma and Stuart are such wonderful people, and it was lovely to see the relationship they have with each other and their beautiful family.

Their wedding day felt relaxed and completely stress-free. They had clearly put so much thought into the things that were important to them, but there was never a feeling that they were trying to make the day fit a particular mould.

Instead, it was very much their day.

That gave us so many opportunities to capture everything naturally as it happened.

And then came the surprises…

One of the brilliant things about photographing Emma and Stuart's wedding was never quite knowing what was going to happen next!

There was a surprise Transformer car — Bumblebee — which made quite an entrance and was certainly something you don't see at every wedding!

Then there were confetti cannons, colour bombs and sparklers, giving us plenty of opportunities to capture some really fun and colourful photographs.

And, of course, the colour scheme had a very subtle nod to Aston Villa, beautifully woven throughout the wedding.

It was those personal touches that made the day feel so completely Emma and Stuart.

The perfect weather — and a little bit of magic

The weather behaved itself beautifully for the wedding, which meant we could make the most of the grounds and everything The Cheshire Venue has to offer.

But there was also a little bit of magic in the days surrounding the wedding.

The day before, Emma and Stuart were lucky enough to see a double rainbow.

And then, on their wedding evening, they were treated to a harvest moon.

You couldn't really ask for a more perfect backdrop to such a special few days!

Amazing food and a very special cake

The food was absolutely fantastic, with Top Table doing an amazing job of keeping everyone very well fed throughout the day.

And the cake had an extra special connection too — it was made by Stuart's sister, Emma.

It's those personal details that we love seeing at weddings. When friends and family have been involved in creating parts of the day, it makes everything feel even more meaningful.

A couple who are made for each other

There isn't really any other way to put it.

Emma and Stuart just seem made for each other.

They are both incredibly caring people, and it was clear throughout the day just how much their family means to them.

From the quiet moments together to the laughter, the surprises, the family photographs and the celebrations, it was a perfect reflection of who they are.

And as photographers, we feel incredibly lucky when couples trust us enough to capture all of those moments for them.

Thank you, Emma & Stuart

From both of us, thank you so much for having us as part of your wedding day.

We had such a lovely time with you both and your family, and we're so pleased we got to capture all the little details and surprises you had planned.

We hope you've enjoyed seeing your first photographs, and we can't wait to catch up with you both again when we bring you the rest of your wedding photographs.

And to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Cheshire — put The Cheshire Venue on your list to visit.

It's beautiful, it's welcoming, the team are fantastic and, as Emma and Stuart's wedding showed, it can be transformed into something completely personal to you.
