Charlotte and Rémy’s wedding at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa in Cheshire was such a pleasure to photograph. From start to finish, their day was incredibly relaxed, filled with laughter and centred around spending time with their family and friends.

Their laid-back approach made the whole day feel natural and effortless — exactly the kind of atmosphere that allows for genuine, storytelling wedding photography.

Despite a few showers throughout the day, we were incredibly lucky to dodge the rain and make the most of the beautiful grounds at Rookery Hall.

This meant we were able to capture stunning outdoor group photos and relaxed couple portraits, taking advantage of the surrounding countryside and elegant setting that makes Rookery Hall such a sought-after wedding venue in Cheshire.

Charlotte and Rémy’s ceremony was conducted by the wonderful team at Cheshire East - Your Ceremony, creating a warm and personal atmosphere.

Having met at university, their story already had such a strong foundation, and with Rémy being from America, the day was a special opportunity to bring loved ones together from afar. Even those who couldn’t attend were very much part of the day, kept connected through photos and videos.

Speeches, Music & Unforgettable Moments

The speeches were a real highlight — full of laughter, emotion and memorable stories that had everyone both laughing and wiping away a few tears.

One of the standout moments of the day was when Rémy and his friends performed Stand By Me — showcasing his musical talent and creating a truly unforgettable moment for Charlotte.

These are the kinds of moments that make every wedding unique, and exactly what we love to capture as a natural wedding photographers.

A Fun & Unique Evening Celebration

Charlotte and Rémy brought their personalities into every part of their wedding — including a fun twist on tradition.

Instead of cutting a cake, they put on aprons and enjoyed a chocolate fountain together, which was such a brilliant and relaxed way to kick off the evening celebrations.

They then wowed their guests with a beautifully coordinated first dance.

From there, the dance floor was full all night. With an incredible DJ keeping the energy high, it’s safe to say some of the best dance moves we’ve seen in a long time happened at this wedding!
