Chris & Kate's Wedding

On July 10th Chris & Kate tied the knot at Larkspur Lodge with their close family and friends. We had a great time photographing the big day, we got to see some old faces from previous weddings too :) Earlier on in the year we photographed Kate & Chris for their engagement photoshoot at Trentham Estate Gardens. It was a great way to get them used to being in front of the camera & gain the confidence & trust in us, this is why we offer our engagement photoshoots for free with all our wedding Photography packages. Fast forward to the big day which was a very calm & relaxed morning where Kate got ready at the venue with her 2 bridesmaids, step mum & mother in law to be. We photographed the set up of the weeding breakfast which had loads of beautiful personal touches to it, which you can see in the photographs. At 2pm the Chris & the guests gathered in the atmospheric Ceremony Room, awaiting Kate's arrival. A beautiful service surrounded by candles & warm lighting! With a very brief shower that didn't stop everyone heading for the arrival of the ice cream van, we caught lots of fun reportage shots of the guests enjoying themselves. We managed to capture plenty of group photographs early on which gave us time to begin the photographs of Kate & Chris. With us being there till the evening we continued to do some more photographs of the two of them during the lovely sunny evening and capturing the first dance and cutting of the cake. It's been an absolute pleasure to be a part of Chris & Kate's wedding day, a lovely couple that you can see have so much fun together.
