On Saturday 28th August we headed over to one of our favourite wedding venues, Keele Hall, to photograph Emily & Joe's Wedding day! Earlier this year we got to meet them both for their engagement photoshoot at the National Trust venue, Shugborough Hall. This gave Emily & Joe the opportunity to get used to being in front of the camera and relax and enjoy having photographs together.
The ceremony took place at Thomas the Apostle in Stoke-on-Trent, and was the last wedding to be conducted by the Reverend Chris Rushton, so we wish him a happy retirement!
Despite being nervous on the day they both relaxed a little when we took them off around the beautiful grounds at Keele Hall. You can't go wrong with all the location spots that there are here, luckily with us being with Emily & Joe from the morning preparations to the first dance it gave us lots of time to head back out to photograph them both around the lake after the sit down meal. It meant a lot to Emily & Joe to have the group shots with all their family & friends, which we had pre-planned with a list of the photographs required. With both of us photographing Nick headed off to capture the relaxed style photographs of the guests chatting and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Emily & Joe started their evening events with a choreographed dance that had been taught by their cousin. They certainly set the dance floor off!
