Such an absolute pleasure to be part of Garry & Flora's wedding day, such a caring couple who certainly know how to have a fun time! We knew we'd have no problems photographing these two together as they were so natural and comfortable on their engagement photoshoot at Tatton Park. They interact really well together in front of the camera and it always involves a lot of laughter. The morning of the wedding was very relaxed when Helen met Flora at The Manor House Alsager, we knew there was to be a little surprise for Flora so we needed to capture the arrival! Flora is from Scotland and so Garry had arranged for a bagpiper to play whilst she walked down the isle with her daughter Millie and it was beautiful to hear! Playing the 'The Skye Boat Song' had me in tears. The ceremony took place by the lovely ladies at Your Ceremony from Cheshire East Registry Office and then they had a beautiful blessing ceremony conducted by their close friend and well known public figure Parveen Smith, they both gave their stories of how they met and what their first impressions were of each other. As the weather was perfect we managed to get everyone outside for the group photographs and of just the two of them.
The party continued in full swing for the evening and began with a lot of giggles from the Mikey Toones Caricatures that was working hard capturing some outrageously funny drawings of the guests! Before the dance floor filled up we managed to get everyone outside with some sparklers to get the evening party started!!
