So today is our 3rd wedding Anniversary! I'd say I can't believe it's been that long but we have two beautiful little girls as proof that time goes too damn fast! As I write this the youngest is trying to eat my hand....dribble is my new perfume at the moment.
We loved our wedding day, it was a bit of a mix of traditional & rustic themed. We even included a little fantasy from Nick's love of The Lord of Rings books/films. I brought Nick a sword too cut his Hobbit Wedding Cake :)
We got married at the Church in Scholar Green near where Helen grew up in Rode Heath & then onto the beautiful Keele Hall. Keele was stunning as the garden's are fantastic for photo opportunities and the staff are brilliant and always look after you.
I wanted to be traditional when it came to my dress, I preferred to have sleeves and it to be made with lace. It didn't take me long to find my dress and I kept it a surprise from the bridesmaids but it was very much a 'Kate Middleton' style dress, we all love a bit of Kate & Will ;)
So to anyone else out there today that is celebrating their wedding Anniversary today or even this month.....
Big Congratulations from Helen & Nick and wish you many many more happy years together.
To my best friend, Nick,
Love from me & the girls
